OUR MISSION

MISSION STATEMENT

To assist the Travis Air Force Base community in reaching an atmosphere of universal acceptance and understanding of all members.  To promote mutual respect and cooperation, open and effective communication, in order to promote responsibility and professional development for members of the LGBT Alliance on Travis Air Force Base, CA.

Our OBJECTIVES

GENERAL INFORMATION

LGBT ALLIANCE MEETS THE 1ST & 3RD WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH FROM 1800-2000 [6PM - 8PM]. THE MEETINGS ON THE 3RD WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH ARE ACTIVITIES OR OUTING EVENTS. OUR MEETINGS ON THE 1ST WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH ARE GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETINGS HELD AT THE AIRMAN & FAMILY READINESS CENTER ON TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, CALIFORNIA. 


*ACCESS TO DOD INSTALLATION IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND MEETINGS THAT OCCUR ON TRAVIS AFB.

*PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY MAY BE PRESENT AT MEETINGS.

  • Support Travis AFB leadership and organizational programs.


  • Enhance the welfare and recognition of all members.


  • Establish and elevate the professional and personal development of the Travis community through effective networking and communication between members of the LGBT Alliance.

  • Promote the Travis “Esprit de Corps” to foster and increase understanding of the LGBT culture and its role in supporting local community programs.
